The Tracy Piper, with the support of Art Attack SF, is proud to premiere “You Are Loved,” an ongoing series of narrative-flipping portraits at Spectrum Miami (Booth #634) from December 5th - 9th, 2018. A kaleidoscope of vibrant color, these bold and playful works address the ever- changing landscape of female/non-binary identity in the 21st century. Join us for the Opening Night Preview Party on Wednesday, December 5th from 6-10pm for an evening of contemporary art and live entertainment in Miami's thriving Wynwood Arts District!
Fabricated from multiple sources, Tracy's fictionalized “daughters” challenge society’s notions of beauty by finding empowerment in their individuality—emphasizing the uniqueness inherent in us all. Seemingly familiar, these portraits could be of someone you know: neighbor, friend, sister, child, me, or you. In this oversaturated world where we are told how to look and behave, these works are a reminder that you can simply be you. You are enough. You are worthy. You are loved.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Tracy Piper is an ex-circus performer turned figurative painter based in San Francisco, CA. She has shown at SCOPE and SELECT in Miami, FL; stARTup Art Fair in San Francisco, CA; SCOPE New York, NY; Art San Diego 2018, CA; and exhibits internationally. In 2017 Tracy competed on the GSNTV show “Skin Wars: Fresh Paint” and emerged victorious! She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration with distinction from California College of the Arts and is represented by Art Attack SF in San Francisco, CA.

Art Attack SF is an art space for contemporary work and community-minded pop-up events. The gallery features rotating exhibitions of emerging artists primarily from the Bay Area and surrounding West Coast. Established in 2012, the gallery is located in San Francisco’s vibrant Castro district.
